What is a bridal consulation appointment?Your appointment will be around 1.5 hours which will give you and us enough time to browse through the gowns, discuss any ideas you have, try on your favourites and also a few wild card ones that we'll throw in for good measure. During your appointment you will be able to style the gowns with our gorgeous veils and accessories to elevate your style. If you think you've found the one but would like to take your time and think about it, you're more than welcome to book in another appointment with us to try on your final choices again. This is an important purchase and we wouldn't want you to rush into anything. Our main piece of advise is...RELAX! We've got you! This is such a special time for you and your friends and family so be sure to take it all in and most importantly enjoy yourself! We'll handle the rest!
-
What is an accessories appointment? Our accessories include veils, hair adornments, bags, belts and jewellery. If you have already found your gown but haven't found the perfect finishing touches, we're happy to help with a styling appointment. Please come prepared with images of your gown if it has already been purchased to give us an idea of the style you're looking for.
-
What should I wear to my appointment? We advise that you wear either nude or white underwear for your appointment and also a strapless bra. This will help you see how the dresses will look without coloured straps and fabrics on show. We also ask that you wear minimal make up and NO fake tan for your appointment. This helps us keep our sample gowns as pristine as possible for all our gorgeous brides to try. If you have an idea of the heel height you would like to wear on the day, please feel free to bring these shoes along to your appointment. We will also provide you with a dressing gown to wear during your appointment to help you feel more comfortable in between gown changes should you wish.
-
Who should I bring with me?We know this is an exciting experience for you and your bridal party however we advise that you bring no more than 3 guests with you to your appointment. Too many opinions can be confusing and you should bring people who you love and trust the opinion of. Unfortunately due to the boutique and gowns being extremely delicate, we ask that you do not bring children between 1 - 10 years to your appointment.

What if I find "The One"?"Yay! You did it, you said "Yes to the dress". After all the clapping and tears, we will then take your measurements to allow us to determine what size we will order for you from the designer. This will be discussed with you to make sure you're happy with everything discussed. You will be asked to read and sign our terms and conditions and a 50% deposit will be required so we can place your order.* We will arrange for your dress to arrive into the boutique at which point we will invite you to come and try it on again and make your final payment. Alterations will likely be required to make sure its perfect for you on the day, however these will be arranged with your seamstress seperately. When you are ready to collect, one of the team will have steamed and prepped your gown for you in one of our branded opaque gown bags ready for you to take away with you! Et Voila! It's time to get married!! (Don't forget to send us pictures from your special day. We love to see our brides enjoying themselves after all that we know that has gone into the planning!) *If you purchase a sample dress we will require full payment on the day to remove it from sale and the gown taken home with you.
-
What is the price range of the gowns? Our gowns range from £1000-£2500
-
What sizes are the sample gowns? Our sizes range from a UK 6-22 with one size of each sample. We have some tricks of the trade so our brides can try a range of styles on where we can pin and tuck so you can see a better idea of how it would look in your size. Bridal sizes do tend to differ between designers so don't be put off if you have to try something that isn't your usual size.
-
How will my dress be alterered?Alterations are undertaken seperately to your gown appointments. We offer a recommended seamstress service at the boutique which we can discuss at your consultation. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to use your own seamstress. We always advise your own research to find the best option for you.
-
Can you store my gown until my wedding? We are happy to store your gown for a limited time at the boutique. Due to storage, we are unable to store Off The Peg gowns or any gowns purchased and that will arrive more than a year in advance of the wedding. We can offer a storage service for up to 6 months from when the gown arrives.
